Problems disabling DHCP server

I seem to be having a very strange problem with a WRT54GX2 wireless router set up in access point mode with Firmware 1.01.14.

I have the DHCP server disabled on the setup page, but it is still giving out IP leases to machines on the network (causing problems since there is already a DHCP server). I've verified that it is in fact the WRT54GX2 as everything works fine when it is unplugged, but also that it shows leases granted in the DHCP client table on the status page.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue before?
