Problems getting wireless bridge to work

I had some kind of wireless bridging working before, but I moved to a new location and now I can't seem to get it to work. any help appreciated. I used this guide:

Basically I have a computer that is wired-only, across the house from my main router. The main router is not tomato. I then have a linksys with tomato 1.28 on it and the wired-only computer is plugged into that. I tried to use the guide above, using both wireless ethernet bridge mode and wireless client mode, tried them both. Tomato can scan and find the relevant channel on the main wireless router, but once I hit save, nothing works after that, its not bridging.

It seems like in the past at my old house when I tried to get this working I had the same problem and nothing worked until i did something different that is not on that guide at all, and suddenly it all magically worked. But for the life of me I can't remember what is it.

maybe I didn't end up using wireless client or wireless ethernet bridge mode after all.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the easiest to get this wired-only computer to connect through a wire into the tomato router, over wifi to the main router? I had it working before, so I know its possible, but been through this guide for several hours, trying to make sure every detail is as noted, but never works now.

I figured out it, noting here for future people that may have problems. Certain security modes are generally only supported on AP mode. So basically, with the main router set to WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] security, had to make sure Tomato was using WPA Personal PSK + TKIP.

That seems to work and secure too
