First off i want to thank the people of this website, i have been browsing around seeing if my problem had already been covered, and it actually sounded like the people of this site know what there talking about :D My hardware first is a wireless linksys router "wrt54gs" and 2 802.11g wireless pci cards for the pc's. I've got the firewall turned off, i've put my ip into dmz mode, i've tried just the port fowarding and havent had any luck with it. Its mainly problems when i try to connect to kazaa or such, not that i use any of them  And also when i try to connect to a game server, it always says possible problems with firewall, which is understandable, because of the blocked ports, but even in dmz mode or just port fowarding it says the same thing. I know there's something i'm doing wrong, this being my first try at setting up a network, but geez i just got dsl and wanna play :) Anyone have an idea i can try? I've been working on it for the past 3 days and i'm about to go up the wall.

A firmwre upgarde would do good. The firmware for the router eventhough the latest usually gives problems. After upgrading the firmware. Press the reset for one minute> this should reset all.
