    Hello Everyone,

I have posted this also in the Open forum, but thought it fit better in this group. sorry for the double post.

I have a Netgear WGT624 wireless router acting as my Gateway. I purchased a Linksys WRT54GS and installed Satori 4.0 Firmware. I have finally gotten the WRT54GS to work in Client mode and allow connection to the internet,

However my issue is that when I ping for example I lose 50% of the packets, and usually it's the first 2 packets. Also when connecting to any web pages it does take longer then normal when using my Wireless card by it's self. I have tried turning up the transmit watts but that hasn't had much if any effect on the situation. I am going to be using this to connect my XBox to XBox LIve and when I connect I periodically lose my connection, which is a pain when you are in the middle of a game.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what may correct this issue? I have spoken with a friend of mine who suggested that I need to turn on packet forwarding but I am not sure how to do this.

Any help would be great :)

    Reduce MTU

Try to reduce MTU Size to 1400 or 1300 on router.
