Hey I will soon be getting an addition and will be networking my entire house. I need a router/hub configuration that has atleast 12 wired ports and Wireless. I was wondering if anyone makes a device like this, or how I can combine my WRT54G and a 16 port hub. Also I will have an Xbox and Xbox 360 attached to this network so it needs to be xbox live compatible. Any help would be appriciated!

EDIT: Also if possible I would like to add a networked HDD.

Your WRT54G can easily be combined with a 16-port hub. Run a patch cable from one of the LAN ports on the WRT54G to the uplink (or any) port on the hub, done. If you have a choice, I'd choose a switch over a hub, as you'll get better LAN performance that way.

For a networked HDD, you can get a NAS unit, you can put the hard drive on a computer, or you can get a WRTSL54GS which has a USB hub and is ready to take a USB hard drive right from the get-go.

Alright, seems easy enough, thanks a lot!

A switch works better since it only send packets to the port that the device is attched to. A hub send packets to all ports. Devices connecting to a switch operate at full duplex, while devices connected to a a hub will not.
