Which WLAN protocol and encryption method have the least combined overhead: WEP, WPA1, WPA2, AES, TKIP?

    Thanks

most likely WEP but it is totally unsafe. Security is the main objective. WPA2 with AES encryption, with PSK of more than 20 characters. My reason is simple, I do not choose speed over a secure wireless connection.

I had read WEP came with more overhead than WPA1, WPA2, AES, TKIP. Was wondering if someone has a definitive measurement/research into the amount of overhead.

    Thanks
