QoS in bridge mode

I am a new to Tomato and need some help on what might be an idiot question!

I want to use the Tomato QoS functions to give my VOIP traffic high priority on my SOHO network. I use AT&T Uverse & so I have a Residential Gateway ie an all in one modem/router/wireless AP. I would like to use Tomato purely as a QoS scheduler in other words connect the WAN port to the gateway and the switch ports to my LAN. I cannot (easily) disable the DHCP or router functions in the gateway so can Tomato be configured to simply bridge the WAN port to the LAN ports but apply the QoS rules to internet traffic?

If this is possible can someone give me a brief overview of what I need to configure.

    Thanks

    Peter
