I am using a symetric DSL Line with 1024/1024-Speed. As i read, QoS Limits should be set to apx. 80% of the Upload Speed. When i set this limit, i notice some issues and problems priorizing VOIP.

Should a set the upload limit to something lower (e.g. 230) like recommended wehen using a asymetric DSL-line (1024/128)? I know that if doing so, im am wasting bandwith...

Disable QoS and do a speed test -- what numbers are you seeing?

I take it the trouble is that calls are breaking up?

ADSL lines need to have the upload limit set because if you upload at your max speed, your download speed gets affected. SDSL lines usually don't have this issue.
