I dont use that program but this is a very confusing question, can you be a little more specific of exactly what you are after. What router / firmware you use etc.

the option for bittorrent is for the protocol, not the program

I understand that its not the program. Ok. whenever you click on add a new app. it ask you to enter the port numbers and it show up at the bottom when you click "add", so the program automatically know that it's a specific program(utorrent). However, the preset for bittorrent does not show any port number just a "---". My question is is the bittorrent preset set for bittorrent clients in general or is it specially for the "Bittorrent", the original program. So if I add the "bittorrent" preset do I need to add more client in, azureus, utorrent and or bittornado for example. I use all of them in my computer. I like to keep my options open. haha

this has been covered before mate. the preset applications don't use ports to identify the protocols. they use Layer-7 filters to id them so port numbers are irrelevant. the same goes for ALL the "Applications", ports are only used when an app is added manually.
