Can I use the QOS on Tomato 1.04 to prioritise traffic from an SSH session? I couldn't see the option in QOS/Classification.

Or will the default QOS setup (from FAQ) be enough?

    Hi monks1975,
you can create a L7-QoS rule or a port based rule for SSH according to your SSH setup.

    See der_Kief's answer.
In the L7-section of QOS - Classification, "ssh" is predefined.
I have it setup as in the attached thumbnail - that works for me in both ways (incoming / outgoing sessions). It's that simple! :)

Alternatively just setup a rule in qos which prioritises traffic with a source or destination port of 22.
