QoS - Traffic backlog problem?

    Hi,

I've currently got QoS setup in HyperWRT in an attempt to stop BT traffic from interfering with web browsing. But lately I've found that it's not been as successful as it used to be, and that web traffic can be slower than i expect.

Looking at the statistics generated by "tc", I can see that some of the queues I have setup have backlogs, even the higher priority ones (the higher priority queues don't normally go above 10 packets). Is this normal, to have queues for even the highest priority queues? Is there something I can do about this?

Some example output from "tc", if you're interested...
