Question about Bandwidth Meter

I am currently running a WRT54GL v1.1 with DD-WRT v23 SP2 and it's running fine, but being the tweaker than I am I have been thinking about trying some other firmwares.

One of my main requirements would be a bandwidth meter, I have bwlog running on my 54GL which does the job, but it's not pretty.

I really like the look of Tomato but the screenshots I have seen of the bandwidth monitor only show a history of download speed, not actual traffic/usage bytes.

Since I am on a limited connection I need to keep track of my usage per month, does Tomato support a monthly usage figure within the bandwidth monitor?

Yes, there are Current (5 hour graph), Daily (table), and Monthly (table). The daily and monthly tables allow you to view them in KB, MB, and GB, and also sort the days by most/least downloaded etc

Excellent, does it also enable to you set the month starting day (i.e. my cycle starts from the 20th of the month, so I want to see "monthly" figures from 20th to the next 19th)?

it doesn't let you pick the start date, but you COULD just add up all the days if you really needed to :)

Just reboot the router on the 20th every month. This will keep your numbers accurate and in sync.

That could definately work, thanks everyone for the advice.
