Question about Class B networks.

When I attempt to configure a Class B network, I'm unable to have DD-WRT assign DHCP addresses out of the x.x.x.y block the router is on.

The valid IP range was 172.16.0-3.x
The router's IP was, but I was not able to configure the DHCP settings to assign anywhere other than 0.x, as the third octet was not editable.

Is there any way to do this on DD-WRT?
