Question about Sveasoft features

I have seen quite a few features listed, and it does look like a good firmware, however my question is specific to the linksys WRT350N router, v1. Does sveasoft have support for the USB port? I have tried quite a few other firmwares without success. I know it can be done in DD-WRT, but as I have no clue about using linux, I am having a difficult time. As the sveasoft website doesn't give this info, I am turning to the people who use the firmware.

    Thanks

Looks like sveasoft's site hasn't been working for a while. No way to download. Looking for some advice on alternate firmware.
I have a WRT54GL 1.1 on a 7km link with great LOS and 24dbi grid antennas. I'm getting a solid 2MB up and down now but would like to get better as I have a 1GB line on the other end :)

    My rssi's are about -80
So do you think with another firmware I can get more life out them and maybe speed it up or is it better to switch to another model router? I'm also thinking to go with helical antennas to cut through the other routers that I'm sure are cutting into my signal.
I'm 350M on a hill with Antenna about 5M high and where I'm getting internet is at sea level but antenna is about 5 stories high.
    TIA!

Tomato or ddwrt. Personally Tomato does it for me.

Yep..forget Sveasoft and check my 4th poste here, Tomato Raf for WRT54GL I think is the best developed for what you need. I went for dd-wrt for different needs.
    Just my 2 cts.

    Thanks mito!
I got it installed on one unused router just to check it out and it looks a lot cleaner to setup than sveasoft. What I'm going to be using this with is a 8km link so I will need to upgrade both sides or could I update the remote link with tomato or will it stop talking to sveasoft on the other end? I'm in WDS mode in Talisman/Basic 1.3.1.
What is the best mode for doing a link like that in Tomato? I noticed other options in tomato that sveasoft doesn't have. Sveasoft I set to AP mode and also turn on LAN on WDS page and enter in my other router which is set up the same.
