Thats exactly my problem: I´m able to connect over dialup (GSM, GPRS connection), quickvpn hangs at “verifying network†but it still negotiate the ip security portion and allow me access to LAN. The only way to close the connection is to terminate it through task manager. Over fixed line it works fine. On the tech supp. tell me that there is not inaff of bandwith, but seems to me it is nonsens - there is no data transfer over the net when "veryfying". Can help?

Have you tried disabling the ethernet and/or wireless adaptor before connecting?

    Re: the 1.0.0.40 version

It means it's not getting a response from the router so something is blocking it, does the laptop have a firewall installed?

    Public IP address

the VPN works fine on client computer with public IP.
I'm not able to establish VPN, if I have IP in privat range on dial-up conn.

Most likely T-Mobile are restricting ports and/or using proxies.
