QuickVPN connected but no data throughput

    Hi,

    I've a RV042 with v1.3.8 Beta Firmware + QuickVPN v1.0.47 up and running.

    After maybe an hour or so the data throughput of the QuickVPN connection stops althought the QuickVPN tunnel is still up and running (green icon etc.).
    After disconnecting and connecting the QuickVPN tunnel again the data throughput works fine again.

    Configuration:
    RV042 with v1.3.8 Beta Firmware
    QuickVPN v1.0.47 Beta on a w2k client pc
    ADSL connections with PPPoE
    Everything else is working fine so far

    Any ideas?

    the beta is now old since1.3.8.2 has been released along with Quickvpn v1.1.0. Give them both a try.

    QuickVPN v1.1.0 didn't change anything as far as I can see, but Firmware version 1.3.8.2 for the RV042 did it and solved the issue :)

    On another (related) note:
    I was advised by one of the Linksys developers to always upgrade the firmware and QuickVPN client sofware in lockstep with one another. I found out that doing mix and match (v 1.1.0 QuickVPN client for example with v1.3.7 firmware) is not only not supported but won't work. Clearly they are made to work with one another.

    whats the MTU setting on your router set at?
