    Hi All,

    Just a piece of info for those who may not already know this.

    I've been using QuickVPN for a while (as noted from some of my earlier posts), but got fed-up with typing the IP address of the PC at work each time I wanted to connect to it. It becomes a bigger issue when the WRV's DHCP decides to issue a new IP address to the PC in question.

    When getting QuickVPN to run originally, I assigned a domain name on the WRV's internet setup page. I now need to add that to the name of the PC I'm trying to connect to.

    e.g.
    PC at work = "Professor Plum"
    Domain Name = "DevonBigGoats.com"
    IP = 192.168.1.107

    Instead of typing "\\192.168.1.107" in the explorer address bar (or the Start/Run window), type the following:-

    "\\Professor Plum.DevonBigGoats.com"

    May be of use to some of you?
