I have successfully set up my RVS4000 for VPN access using the Linksys QuickVPN software. When I VPN into my network from outside, I am able to access all the resources connected to the router that are running on 100 MBit. Unfortunately, I cannot connect to my one Gigabit resource, which happens to be a NAS (my backup disk drive). Any thoughts as to why this is happening? Here's some more details: My network has two 100 MBit devices connected and one Gigabit device connected to the router. While inside my network, I can connect/ping all devices. The NAS works wonderfully on the Gigabit connection. As described above, when I am outside my network, I can VPN in, but can only access the 100 MBit devices. I cannot access the NAS over VPN. I even tried moving the NAS to different ports on the router, but no luck thinking it was a hardware issue. At first glance, I was thinking this is a hardware issue, but I am thinking it is more of a software issue as I test more combination's of plugging the NAS into different ports on the router. Firmware: 1.2.10 QuickVPN: 1.2.11 running on Windows XP SP3 (no Windows Firewall) Please let me know if anyone else is having this issue, too.
