random freezes on wireless G router

    Hey. Ok, my notebook randomly locks up when i am on the wireless connection with my router (Wireless G broadband adapter) How am i supposed to fix this. I have ran virus scanners and spyware and all the other stuff. Nothing comes up. What is wrong. I only stay online for about a minute then it locks up...

    please help...

    Are you using a Wireless G router or a Wireless G adapter, or both? You say router in the subject but you only mention adapter in the post. A router is not the same as an adapter - adapter is a network card, but a router is a separate piece of hardware. Please clarify.

    When you refer to the notebook locking up, you mean a system crash? If not, does the operating system unfreezes itself? Nonetheless, you need to identify your adapter and the driver version and check with manufacturer's support website to see if you have the latest version. If not, try and see if an update to the latest driver can fix the problem.
