Random reboots on 2 routers

I have read other posts where routers just reboot for no reason. I had a Linksys WRT54G v2 with Tomato v1.06, which rebooted every few days. Then, I upgraded to a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 with v1.06, which also rebooted every few days. I did clear NVRAM before and after loading firmware. I kept changes to a minimum by only changing PPPoE, WEP encryption, and Port Forwarding. I even went as far as buying a battery-backup UPS just for the Buffalo and it restarted after 3 days so it could not be an electrical problem. So I do not know what else to do. Any suggestions?
