Range Extender need help

    Hi Guys,

    I just gotten a WCG200 cable router from my ISP, the range can't reach my living room if I will to hook it up in the study room. can I use wrt54g as a range extender ?

    Yes, when loaded with custom firmware the WRT54G can be used as a "range extender" for any Router/AP that supports WDS.

    Hi... I just reliease that my WCG200 don't have the WDS function... any other suggestion???

    Two sugestions

    1. Buy a second WRT (or other WDS hardware)

    2. Run a cable from the WCG200 and connect it to a LAN port on the WRT after disabling the DCHP server in the WRT.
