I'm switching from one router to another. I've taken screen caps from all the settings, but I forgot to take a screen cap the users, and the QOS configuration page.

Is it possible to load tomato onto another router and then load the config files, pull the info off, and then reflash with no harm?

config files are known to be NOT compatible between different routers. if you have dumped the nvram config (plain text) you can open it with a text editor and reconfigure your new router according to some of the settings.

I wish I did that. What I have is a gobbeldy gook file.

I know that the config files aren't compatible, I was just hoping to pull the info and start all over again.
