Is there a way to *really* erase the flash and restore it to its brand new condition? I played with DD-WRT, OpenWRT that create the JFFS file system and I would like to make sure that it is all gone.

Would 'erase nvram' do the trick?

Would a simple upgrade to Thibor14 for example do the same thing?

    thank you

MTD erase nvram. that's all for the dd-wrt, and then reboot

you can either use the web gui and "erase nvram and restore factory defaults" OR telnet/ssh into router & erase nvram;reboot
