Realtime bandwidth Monitoring via SSH/Telnet possible ?

    is it possible to monitor realtime bandwidth via ssh or telnet ?

    if yes, what must i type ? :)

    There is no way to provide "probably" what you want with the stock firmware tools. The best you've got is this:

    while true; do grep `nvram get wan_iface` /proc/net/dev; sleep 1; done

    This will show you a series of numbers associated with the WAN interface on your router. For what those numbers represent, see cat /proc/net/dev and read the header.

    You can write a small sh script that can, using very simple math, tell you the number of bytes-per-second that is flowing across an interface. Good luck!

    Install "nload" through Optware.
