I hope this isn't a big deterrent, but we have moved the majority of the forums to registration only posts. Every visitor, registered or not can view and read threads, but will not be able to reply without signing up.

This is being done to help create a bit better continuity of flow of threads where people ask for help, and to eliminate the need for 'oops, that was me, i forgot to sign in posts.'

This is also being done so that there is accountability and the prevention of spamming seen at many sites lately.

There is a new Public forum at the top of the list where anyone, registered or not can post. New users who would just like to try us out, can feel free to post there and the topic will get moved to the appropriate category once they register.

And on a 'State of the Site' adress note, wow, I'm really impressed with everyone - there's no flaming and everyone is here to help each other. This is the kind of community that fosters growth and support. It looks likes soon enough we'll have answered every question any one could have about implementing routers or access points, and our job will be done ;-)

So, thank you LinksysInfo community, I'm very proud of you!
