Someone told me of a great remote control app called TeamView. Basically what is great about it is it does not rely on the host machine that you want to control to forward any port unlike Remote Desktop which you have to forward port 3389 by default on the router. The way it works is if someone wants me to take control of his computer, I would send him a file or he can have the file already on his desktop. This is an exe file that only executes one time only. It does not install into Windows registry. As a precaution, he has to tell me a password before I can take control.

I have been googling this program but could not find any. It could be a typo. It sounds like TeamView. Anyone here can point me to the right direction? It's supposed to base on VNC.

Check out UltraVNC. On the Add-ons page you'll notice something called SingleClick ("SC").

It was a typo. It's called Teamviewer at

Thanks for the tip. I am going to evaluate both Teamviewer and UltraVNC SC.
