    Hi People.

Does anyone know much about Remote Management on the RVS4000 and how to get it working?

    Here's my details

Using RVS4000 and AM300. Internet working fine, all computers on network operating fine! I'm on a Static IP and i've just updated the firmware from 1.1.09 to 1.1.13.

However from an outside WAN source i can't access remote management let alone ping my static ip address. I've checked up with my ISP to make sure they haven't blocked the 8080 port and they've assured me they haven't

Remote Management is on in my router and i have changed the default gateway password.

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to set up VPN but can't even get past this point!

    Cheers

Way too late for you probably, but I found that you have to use SSL https: to initialize this function. This is documented nowhere, but in a Jan 07 thread found on Linksys Forums. Mine worked fine using DDNS after this.
