Hello, i have program a little watchdog for the wap54g running with script on linux.
The watchdog is supposed to restart the unit when it hangs transmiting packets (it happens to frequent to me).
Is there a way to restart the AP with only http get commands ?
    thank you

If there is a Restart button in the web GUI then you could use a program like Fiddler to capture exactly what happens when the button is pressed. (If there is a Restart button I'd expect it to use a http POST rather than a GET but it's somewhere to start.)

    Good luck.

I can restart it with a POST command, given a fake configuration command. But I need to do that with a GET.
    Thank you anyway.

I obviously don't know the full details of why you need to use a GET but I assume you know that there's a number of ways to create a script that will do a POST?

For example the --post-data parameter can be used with wget...

    Anyway, good luck.
