Repeater or Repeater Bridge???

I have 2 wap54g access points (v2 & v3.1). I want to use one to boost the signal strength to my mom's pc next door. Ordinarily next door isn't much of an issue but her signal goes out when it rains and I was hoping to eliminate that with one of these waps in the middle. I'm not wanting it to be an AP at all. Just a signal repeater. Should I use repeater or repeater bridge mode? And what settings should I use? Should WDS be used at all? The routers at both ends are WRT54G running tomato. I have already converted the APs with the dd-wrt.v24-11296_NEWD_micro bin. Thanks for any info you can provide!!!

    repeater isolates the downstream network

    repeater bridge joins the networks

if you want access to her computers, bridge

Ok, repeater bridge it is. But what should the settings be? Should WDS be used? And will the repeater bridge be accessible as an AP? I don't want it to be. Thanks!!!
