Every time the phone (5.8GHz) rings, or is hung up, the Linksys router disconnects from the Internet and must be unplugged for a few seconds to reconnect. I'm going through all the different wireless channels, but so far no luck. Besides the base phone there are 2 others in other rooms.
Anyone else have this problem and found a solution?
    Linksys Tech support is daffy.

I have a TRU-8855 (three handsets) plus the equivalent RadioShack model w/answerer (two more handsets) distributed around the house. I have the WRTSL54GS router and get absolutely no interference whatever. I wouldn't expect to given that the phones run at 5.8GHz while the router is 2.4GHz.

Rather than the wireless I would look elsewhere for your problem... like, is there a power issue? Are the two devices side-by-side sharing a power socket? If so, have you tried moving them away from each other?

What is your internet connection? If DSL, are you sure the phone isn't just interfering with that directly (i.e. is your splitter/filter working OK). Can you run a wired connection to the modem? Does it stay up in the circumstance you describe? Ditto with wired connection to the router?

Of course it could just be that maybe one or other is defective, but you would need to do more experimentation and report back.
