Request to create Tomato Firmware with Client VPN Specific Port Selection

I had been reading a few of the older posts and noticed there there have been one or two posts regarding how you can set up Tomato to forward only certain ports to the built-in client VPN. I have not had much luck with the scripts as they would cause my router to become unstable and not work properly. I was wondering if someone could build a Tomato Mod that would allow you to set either specific ports (TCP and/or UDP), specific IPs or to have the other option where specific ports are the exception as well as IP addresses. I think this would open up a whole new realm of possibilities esp when you have quite a few computers on your network and you want only some traffic to be protected.

I'm currently using EasyTomato at the moment. I am fairly comfortable with the advanced section however I do not see any options within the GUI that allow for specifying which traffic will pass through the VPN Client. It's basically always on or off.

Direct clients to redirect Internet traffic
    Port
You can set both of them.
And it also depend what protocol you use TAP/TUN interface.
There is alot scripts on internet that allow you to choose which computer to have VPN or not.

Let's say for example I want only port 80 traffic to go through the Client VPN in Tomato and all other traffic to bypass the VPN and simply go to the WAN. How would you do this?

I took a look at some of the scripts on the page. The one on the first link you provided is essentially the same script I used on my router. I did give it a spin just to see what would happen and my router froze up. I think it would be a good idea if someone could just add these features into Tomato rather than trying to get scripts (which could be outdated) that don't seem to work across all firmware versions.

Why add something which is already inside the builds.... Try another build - Toastman, Shibby, Victek... These scripts work without problem on my rt-16n with Victek build

Which version of the Toastman build are you using that works with the scripts? Do you think PPPoE could be the culprit?
