I've bought my self a new WRT54G router and find my self having problems with the port forwarding since they are not working.

So I decided to upgrade my firmware and hope that this fixes my problem.

I have downloaded WRT54GV4.0_4.20.8_ETSI_code.bin from the official Linksys website, and tried to upgrade my firmware, how ever I get the Upgrade are Failed! message some other people seem to receive also.

In the right top corner it shows that I have Firmware Version: v1.00.1, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you in advance,

PS. I live in the Netherlands, so I am looking for the european file, if that makes a difference.

Woah, so I have a v5.0? That's why of course it did not work.

Well, to go on about my main problem then, Port Forwarding does not seem to be working.

Any idea what I should do?

EDIT: This is rediculous, after doing NOTHING at all, my port forwarding is working, like, are you god? :thumb:

EDIT: I seem to have a different problem now, upload rate:
I've always ran a File Server which did about 60kb/s upload. Right now I and others are receiving no more then 7/15 kb/s, this is really weird. I am still with the same provider etc, nothing has changed.
This is only when I do it trough WAN, when I do it local: I receive major LAN upload.
