How can I reset http port 1024 back to port 80 without the web based interface? I can't reach the web based interface since I changed the port settings and now I want to correct this. But How? Who can help me?

You can always reset to factory default settings by pressing and holding the reset button for more than 10 seconds. Resetting erases ALL your settings.

Edit: Resetting may not be the best way to erase settings. I just tried to erase some back up settings and all I managed to do was to reset the IP to default 192.168.1.77 on the first reset and then the password to default admin/admin. None of the other settings seemed to have been erased to factory defaults.

Have you tried to browse to http://router IP:1024?

You can not telnet into the NSLU2 with the R63 firmware version. That functionality has been removed.

the ip:1024 did not work, so the reset was necessary.

Someone from linksys indicated the factory reset to me (live chat). It worked, but after that the web browser stayed very unstable. I chatted a few hours! with 2 employees of linksys and at the end they had to admit my device was not good. I notified my shop on monday and on thuesday someone came to pick the old device up and deliver a new one. Great service!

    Thanks for your replies.
