Hello guys, Just a quick question.

Everytime I update the firmwire with the latest version of tomato, I go to Restore default configuration on administration/configuration tab and select erase all data in nvram memory (thorought). Once that is done I always select restore configuration and upload the config from the previous firmwire settings. So I don't have to add all my port forwarding, qos and alot of other settings again.

Is it this really recommended to upload the old configuration from previous firmwire when you've uploaded a new firmwire?, or should I just manually add all my settings?

you CANNOT restore configuration from older tomato version!!! This is the worst thing what you can do! Much better solution is NOT ERASE NVRAM after upgrade firmware. The best solution is erase nvram and set all settings manually.
