    Dear all,

I'm not exactly what the name of this feature is but would like to know whether it is built into tomato.

Sometimes when I log into to a network (say at a hospital), when I try to access a website, I have to enter in a username and password before the network allows me to access the internet.

Was wondering whether this is available in tomato? I am aware you can filter by MAC address.

It's called a captive portal - search the forum for details.

May also be called an authorized/authorizing proxy. Prev job had to authorize to a proxy before you had access. Not a valid user, not getting on!

Thanks for terminology. A search shows that Tomato does not currently support captive portal. Thanks again.
