Retrieve PPPoE Password for All Linksys Router

    How to Retrieve PPPoE Password for All Linksys Router.?

    When i view source on the setting page, I try to retrieve back my PPPoE. I found that the password was encryted.

    Anybody know how to decryt the PPPoE password?
    I was using WRT54G Wireless Router.

    telnet to your router

    nvram show | grep pppoe_passwd

    its unencrypted.

    If you can login to the router, pull down the config.bin file by clicking administration -> config management -> Backup.

    open it up in notepad and you should see your pppoe username and password in cleartext.

    tip: to easily open files in notepad, right click your desktop and click NEW-> Shortcut type in notepad and next next ok.
    Then simply drag your config.bin (or whatever) over the shortcut and it will open in notepad.
