Hello. I have a Linksys WAP54 V1.1, with a couple of friends we try to upgrade it whit the "DD-WRT v23 SP1 Micro firmware" since here http://seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/WAP54G says that it would work...

We didn't obtain the spected results, the a. point didn't boot any more and it doesn't respond to any pin. We are reading indications in http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/sh ...ad.php?t=51202 specially that of shortening the 15-16 pins but the flash memory of the version 1.1 is Am29LV160DB-90EC of AMD, it is not intel like in the earlier versions...

Does our problem reduce to shortening corrects pins?

    Here: http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/cont ...cs/22358b6.pdf
We found the datasheet of the flash memory but we are not able to visualize which pins should we short.

Any help/idea is welcome. Excuse me for my bad English, I’m from Montevideo - Uruguay, we speak Spanish...

    Sam Problem

I also flashed my WAP54g v 1.1 with "DD-WRT v23 SP2 Micro firmware". ANd now it is dead.

I have noticed that i can acces the GUI interface if i join the wireless network. but it wont let me make any changes in configuration. Also since the WAP54g has only one network interface and this firmaware is for routers it assigns the local port a fake MAC and tags it as theh WAN interface. So that is why we have not been able to get to our AP config connecting a cable to that port. Even if it gets a DHCP IP addres you wont be able to log on via the ETH1 interface.

Plase help I have done about everything I know or have read in forums.
