RMA for RVL200

    I tried to get an RMA for a dead (like a brick) RVL200. Only the power led works. The switch doesn't, the reset button doesn't do anything either.
    I know it's end-of-life and all that, but from looking at Cisco's info on it, it seems they still have to take care of this model until June 30 2016.
    According to their lifetime warranty, it's 5 years after end-of-sale, which coincides with that June 30 2016.
    I called support and was told the router has a 3-year warranty, already expired and there's nothing they can do. I'm wondering if that shows like that because this RVL200 was received from Cisco on another RMA, and it arrived dead already.
    This is not the best piece of hardware I've seen, but when it works it does a good job with ssl vpn, which is what I'm looking for.
    Any ideas on getting this one replaced?
    Their only solution was to purchase an RV220W, but I don't really want to pay for wireless and not use it.
