Experienced an odd issue two days in a row and am curious how to troubleshoot/determine what the root cause is. Have an IP hard phone (Avaya 4625) running a VPN client behind a Netgear POE switch that connects to Tomato, which connects to the internet. Two days in a row, around the same time of day (4 p.m.); the phone completely lost network connectivity and Tomato had to be re-booted. Other comments; 1. Both were after being on call for more than 30 mins.One was 30+, the other was after an hour. 2. There are no other clients on the Tomato router; it essentially is currently dedicated to the IP phone. My thoughts are that there might be an issue somehow related to sessions on the router; like it is not dealing well with having a connection up so long. Any guidance on how to troubleshoot or determine root cause of the issue? Thanks in advance.
