Router MAC address

Hey all, I recently flashed my WRT54GS v5 to DD-wrt v23 SP1 Micro. I just noticed that the router's MAC addie doesn't match what is on the retail box any more.

Any ideas on how to get it back to stock? I dont want to use the clone feature, I'd rather edit the .bin files and reflash.

    Thanks
    Jesse

One of the tools available here:

    http://www.bitsum.com/openwiking/owbase/ow.asp?WRT54G5_CFE#preview

Refer to section on "Changing your MAC addresss".

    http://www.bitsum.com/files/imgtool_nvram.zip

is a Windows GUI which allows you to create a custom CFE with your MAC embedded. You can also manually reset MAC from a telnet/ssh session.

The whole evolution of the v5 solution can be followed here:

    Hope this helps.
