so i just recently flashed my WRT54G v5 using ww-drt firmware and everything went great

the problem is that my router is not getting an i.p from the modem after i restart it. i have it set to dhcp and stp disabled (had it enabled b4 and it still didn't work). at first i thought maybe it was the modem but the modem releases and renews i.p when directly plugged into my laptops or my other router.

if anyone has any ideas or advice please help me out

    cheers

reboot the CM and then the WRT and see if this works.

When they say reboot the modem...

In my area I have to leave the modem off for 60 seconds. Then the modem will get back on the network. Then an IP address can be given to the router.
