I am accessing my router using Firefox for remote administration via https, using a name assigned to my WAN IP via dyndns.org. Every time I access the router, I get the message that I have attempted a connection, however, the security certificate presented belongs to 192.168.1.1. It is possible that someone may be trying to intercept your communications to this web site. Viewing the certificate shows that it is indeed assigned for 192.168.1.1, however, I am using the WAN address (resolved by dyndns.org) when I remotely administer the router. Is there any way to modify the certificate to solve this? Is there another way to prevent this from happening? Any ideas appreciated.
