I'm a newbie on this stuff but do have access to knowledgeable people willing to help.
    My current setup:

WRT54Gv3 Router with Talisman v1.0.3 firmware in two locations establishing a persistent router to router vpn connection. I've used this for the last couple of years and it works well. I have two client computers behind one router mapping a drive to the 'server' computer on the other router. The server side does not need to access the other two computers.

I upgraded to WRTSL54GS v1.1 routers (Thibor 16b) and would like to re-establish the router to router vpn configuration.

Does the WRTSL54GS firmware and/or the firmware modifications support this? I can vpn from a single client computer but haven't had any luck on setting up the routers to speak to each other. This is where my knowledge of PPTP/VPN networking is slim.
My 'experts' have knowledge of PPTP and VPN but not when using modified routers. They are helping me understand the basics but not on the specifics.

Does the VPN server in the firmware support multiple connections? I can establish one connection but not two. I do not want to run a vpn client on the computers as the router to router configuration makes things easier.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I'm hoping someone out there can help. Is it possible to use OpenVPN with Thibor 16b? I need a router to router configuration.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

The wrtsl54gs is not a vpn router so its not going to have a router to router vpn functionality. I believe the pptp sever is a single connection at a time but am unsure as i have not used it. In order to get your router to router connection you will need another vpn capable router, i can recommend the wrv200 as i have one and they work great. Can also recommend other non linksys but ill leave those be for now.
