I have a di-524 (dlink) router that is doing all my main routing. This device has never browned out on me, but I need more coverage area.

I bought a WRT54G router, and flashed it with Sveasoft - Alchemy v1.0 Final, to assume an AP function. I am however having problems setting it up. I was wondering since the two wireless routers are not is the same house ... (2 apartments) and 2 different manufactures, is this possible?

I tried to follow the tutorial, but I noticed they were identical routers.

I am assuming that it is possible, I have the IP/Subnet/MAC/Channel of the other router i'm trying to connect to. But have been un-successful in making it work.

I'm looking for anyone that can point me in the right direction to make this work.
