Hi, I bought a Linksys Router WRT54G v5 today. When i'm logging into the web userinterface via http://192.168.1.1 , lots of menu's and buttons/ text is missing. I updated to latest firmware dated from january 2006, that didn't help.

I'm using Windows 2000 with IE 6.0 and ZoneAlarm Pro where full access to 192.168.1.1 is allowed

I tried to attach a 9 kb png picture of screendump, but I couldn't

Do any of you have some hints?

    regards Lars

sounds like MSIE is blocking images, or something is, have you tried viewing it via firefox?

Hmm. Check your browser and firewall security settings. If set too high, they may block some of the active content on the WRT interface page. Also clear your browser cache.

    One more question..
Should i use the software came with WMP54G PCI adapter instead
of the windows-xp wireless tool? Which one is better?

If you have a WMP54G version 1.0 or 2.0 use the Windows Zero Configuration (WZC) service. For the WMP54G version 4.0, it is you choice. The wireless client was meant to run on pre-Windows XP OS for the former.
