Routing from WAN to LAN on WRT54GP2

I have a WRT54GP2 that used to interface my Cable modem but now I got another router for this and I only want to use the WRT for WLAN access and to terminate my VoIP within my private network.

However, when I turn off NAT it does not work very well. I read somewhere that executing "/usr/sbin/iptables --flush FORWARD" would solve this but the problem comes back after the next reboot.

    Are there any other options?
