I had till 5 days ago a linksys BEFSR41 v2, an old model antique should i say that was working very well even if my internet provider has modified his TTL to 1 , the old one was doing nat with no problems. So as a satisfied customer i bought a new model WRT54G v5(as i discovered) and i made all the settings as necesary, no fancy stuff, simple , ip,mask, gate, dns, dhcp on,mac clone and wireless down and i discovered that my internet works from inside the router(ping trace) but from the nat-ed lan doesn't.From the nated lan i can reach only the gateway from the wan side but nothing more. What can i do to make my internet work again on my new router , this means to bypass the TTL=1 of my internet provider?

if you can ping the gateway check if you can ping the DNS, you should be able to unless you arent getting DNS which would keep you off the internet
