RSTATS has problem loading history file from USB flash drive after reboot

I plugged in a cheapie 64MB USB flash drive into the back of my E3000, it mounted without issue, and I then changed rstats bandwidth save history location from RAM(temporary) to Custom Path: /tmp/mnt/UNTITLED/.

This works fine for a while, but it appears that when the router reboots, and possibly also during other circumstances, rstats loses connectivity to that share and is unable to save stats. During this time, the router still reports the USB drive as mounted. So if I unmount the drive, then reboot the router, then repoint rstats back at that share, it appears to work again until the next router reboot or some other unknown scenario.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

Default Rstat and Cstat saving time is 48hour. Try to hit SAVE button on rstas page. Or wait 48hour to se if it's saving.
Btw: are you using EXT3 format on usb-drive ?

    It's formatted in FAT.

I changed the default save frequency to every hour which seemed to help initially, but it still became screwed up once the router rebooted.

And your path to USB-memory is like this?
    Code:
    /mnt/sda1/logs/

No, the USB page said the drive had mounted at /tmp/mnt/UNTITLED so I entered /tmp/mnt/UNTITLED/. as the path in rstats.

This is how it appears in the USB and NAS section:
And my logfile, evidently, is named:

    Okey

    - Take backup of you rstats <<= exclude this if you want fresh log !
    - Make a directory under/mnt/sda1/logs
    - Set your path to /mnt/sda1/logs
    - Assume your USB is mounted to sda1, make sure it's mounted
    - Manually put your file, tomato_rstats_c0c1c0870308 in logs <<= exclude this if you want fresh log !
    - Press then "save" on side, right corner in Bandwidth Monitoring side
    - I'm not sure if Vfat is supported by Tomato, Ext2, Ext3, fat, ntfs is supported
If I don't forgett something it should work now

    good luck

Well, Tomato auto-mounts it to /tmp/mnt/UNTITLED, so why would I change that mount location? Also, I'm not concerned with bringing historical rstats data over, I just want to create a new rstats log and have it work correctly over time.

The Tomato USB and NAS page has the boxes checked for EXT, FAT and NTFS by default; given that, and the fact that it was saving several days worth of stats successfully to the USB drive, I'd say FAT file system is supported. It just seems that something breaks it during reboot.
