RT-N16 wireless stop working

My RT-N16 running Tomato 1.28 has been running great. The router is about 2 years old. The wireless suddenly stopped working today, none of devices at home can connect to the router. Restart router but still not working. My desktop which wired to the router still has internet access.

Could anyone give me some advice on how to troubleshooting this?

    Thanks!

Try reflash, maybe factory reboot first and delete NVRAM

Two years is a bit short for a wireless router but you know the radio drivers are very susceptible to spikes like close lightning strikes. I have a lot of routers in the field and they are all on surge suppressors and once and a while the wired bridge module or the radio driver just goes.

I started with a gross (144) of buffalo WHR-G54S routers to flash and deploy as public access points in subscribing locations in Wisconsin with a partner doing the physical installs and maintenance. We had about 40 clients and I can tell you when a thunderstorm rolled though our support number would ringing. Mostly it just required a reboot of their modem/router but in the cases where it didn't work about 70% of the wireless radio was out but the Ethernet bridge and router was functional.

In a short 4 years that gross of routers was down to 10 spares and started the replacement of routers with the RT-N16 which seems to be a bit more reliable. Some of our locations never had a failure and others we replaced up to 3 times. There is a reason these routers are tagged consumer but I find them very reliable based on the cost per unit.

In the home I always have a pre-configured spare sitting around just in case the primary fails. Newegg and Amazon always seems to have these things on some type of special so the investment would be relatively low vs. losing access to the internet.

I don't know which program was used when it stopped working. my son tried to play minecraft in his computer and he can't connect to wireless. Not sure if that's the time the wireless stop or it was down before that.

normally, we use web, email, roku(video streaming), music etc.

Well you really don't understand my question. 1.28 isn't any program, it's a brand. But good luck ! I have tried !?
