    Hi guys,

    I made a test set-up composed of
    3,5 km sloped road
    1 AP using a WRT54GL with dd-wrt.v24_micro_wrt54gv8
1 Client side with aWRT54GS confirgured as a client

In the shop the setup is working well. ie my pc connected to the client router can see the internet...

    Here is the tests scenarios

I bakcup my pick-up truck at less than 10 feet from AP, my laptop beside me and I have a 100% signal and I can see the access point and joint it.

I drive down the road and I have a 50% of signal and -67db but I can't connect to my AP 3,5km up hill! But I 'see' the radio signal.

At this point, I turn off the power supply and shut downed both router and amp. Turn it on again and never be able to see the AP again no signal, mute, silent, off !

I drove back up hill back-up to 10 feet from AP and bingo, seeing the AP, drive down to 3,5km keep along down to 50% -67db. Same proc: Shutdown and silent on the boot up.

    It's like a rubberband....

    Need help !

    Thanks
